The ESF+ has set itself the goal of giving all people equal opportunities in education and the labour market as well as participation in society.

ESF in Austria

Key tenets of the ESF+

Promotion of employment and professional participation
Investing in education, skills and lifelong learning
Active inclusion of people who are particularly at risk of poverty and marginalisation

Calls and tenders

Grants for ESF-financed projects are awarded on the basis of calls or according to the Austrian Federal Act on the Award of Public Contracts. The funding agencies prepare calls and invitations to tender on the corresponding focuses and call for the submission of projects.
